Hey there, everyone! Just wanted to post a little update, the donations have kept coming in, almost on a daily basis- we are doing great!

-We've been blessed to be contacted by amazing business owners who have offered their places of business as drop off locations. While we are still getting started with this whole project right now so, at this time, we are not in need of drop off points... Karen, who owns Flower Girl Florist, has offered her flower shop to us now and in the future. She is a great lady and we are honored that she wants to help us- in turn we'd love to help her! If you happen to be in need of flowers in the near future, please check out her website http://www.flowergirlflorist.com/ as well as her facebook page (like it!)  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Flower-Girl-Florist/342640363970 ... Thank you Karen!

-Skylar's Wish has gone international! Yesterday, we received a package from the United Kingdom! While we are happy and grateful for each and every donation we receive, we were quite excited about this.

I plan on ironing more patches onto the clothes we've received some night this week, so there will be another number update after that happens- we can't wait to see how many outfits we are up to now(not to mention hats and booties!). We are incredibly happy at the response we've received, and are so glad that so many people are willing to help out this amazing endeavor of love that we've started. Please remember why we are doing what we are doing:

1. To keep the memory of our daughter, Skylar, alive. She impacted so many lives in the 9 months that we carried her, we would like to have an impact on more lives in her name.

2. To offer some form of comfort to families which will endure the type of tragedy that we have had to endure, the death of a child whether it be in utero, or shortly after birth.

3. To bring knowledge to the awful occurence of stillbirth and just how often it happens. (I have recently read that, in the UK, every day there are 17 babies lost to stillbirth. That is 17 families who have to go through what we've been through. 34 mothers and fathers who have to go home with empty arms. 68 grandparents who will never get to hear their grandson or granddaughter's laugh or cry. It happens so much, and most of the time, we know so little about WHY.)

Thank you for all your love and support, Skylar's Wish would be nothing without people like YOU.

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. -Helen Keller
